Details

936 drawings of American aviation. airships, autogiros, balloons, biplanes, flying boats, gliders, civilian light planes, civilian commercial, military through World War II, all with original captions. The material in this book represents 27 years of Aircraft Year Book drawings, captions and charts. The work was collected, sorted, restored, indexed by year and manufacturer, reduced to 72% of the originals and in many cases the white spaces reduced in order to print four drawings to a page and have a manageable size book while the drawings remain unchanged except for size. The Aircraft Year Book series is highly acclaimed by aviation historians and are at times the only source of information on some of the rarer aircraft.
