CO-OP Cockshutt – A scarce and highly collectible illustrated reference on Cockshutt and CO-OP tractors of the 1950s, compiled by Alan C. King and published in 1988. This 24-page softcover booklet traces the advertising history of the famous Cockshutt 20, 30, 40 and 50 tractors, along with their CO-OP counterparts, and includes period advertising illustrations, historical notes and restoration information.
Produced by Cockshutt Farm Equipment, Inc. of Bellevue, Ohio, this publication is especially desirable for collectors and restorers of vintage farm machinery, tractor memorabilia and agricultural advertising. CO-OP Cockshutt also includes useful historical background on the relationship between Cockshutt and the National Farm Machinery Cooperative, making it an excellent reference for enthusiasts of Canadian and American farm tractors.
An increasingly difficult title to find, particularly in South Africa, this is an ideal addition to a collection of tractor literature, farm equipment catalogues, agricultural history or Cockshutt memorabilia.
