In Postcards from the Boys, Ringo Starr opens a personal archive of 53 postcards sent to him by fellow Beatles John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and George Harrison. Spanning from the mid-1960s to the 1990s, these postcards—many adorned with whimsical drawings and candid messages—offer a unique glimpse into the enduring friendships and playful camaraderie among the band members.​

Each postcard is reproduced in full color, showcasing both front and back, accompanied by Ringo’s own commentary that adds context and personal reflections. Whether it’s a humorous note from John and Yoko, a travel update from Paul and Jane Asher during their time in Rishikesh, or a holiday greeting from George, the collection captures moments of levity and affection that persisted even after the Beatles’ breakup.​

Originally released in 2004, the book was first published as a limited, signed collector’s edition by Genesis Publications, with proceeds benefiting charity. A more widely available hardcover edition followed, making this intimate collection accessible to a broader audience.​
