The Collected Works of Herman Charles Bosman gathers Bosman’s best-known novels and stories, including Mafeking Road, Cold Stone Jug, Unto Dust, Willemsdorp, The Earth is Waiting, A Bekkersdal Marathon, Jurie Steyn’s Post Office, Selected Stories and A Cask of Jerepigo. With a foreword by Lionel Abrahams, this edition is regarded as one of the definitive Bosman collections and is sought after by collectors of Africana and South African literature.
Bound in brown cloth with black lettering and housed in the original illustrated slipcase.
Condition – Near Fine
Slipcase is very good with some bubbling and lifting to the plastic coating, especially along one side. Both volumes retain their original dust jackets, which are near fine apart from fading to the spines. Brown cloth boards are near fine with sharp black lettering. Internally both volumes are exceptionally clean, bright and appear unread, fine like new.
