Itzik, Be Strong! by Yitzchak Pomerantz

Itzik, Be Strong! by Yitzchak Pomerantz is a compelling first-hand Holocaust memoir forming part of the respected The Holocaust Diaries series published by CIS Publishers. Through deeply personal recollections, Pomerantz recounts his family’s struggle to survive the horrors of Nazi persecution and the upheaval of the Second World War. His account provides readers with a moving insight into the resilience of the human spirit, the importance of faith, and the determination to preserve identity in the face of unimaginable hardship.

Unlike many broad historical works, this volume presents history through the eyes of someone who experienced it firsthand. The narrative follows the author’s experiences as his family is displaced by war, forced to flee advancing armies, and confronted by persecution that forever altered Jewish communities across Eastern Europe. Itzik, Be Strong! combines historical context with intimate personal reflection, making it both an educational resource and an emotionally powerful testimony.

As part of The Holocaust Diaries series, this title is sought after by collectors of Holocaust literature, Jewish history, World War II history, survivor memoirs and educational institutions. Itzik, Be Strong! is equally suitable for readers seeking authentic eyewitness accounts that complement academic studies of the Holocaust.
