This 1967 South African edition, published by Newman Art Publishing Company of Roodepoort under license from the Gibson Greeting Card Company, includes some of the author’s most cherished works, including the iconic “The Praying Hands”.
Helen Steiner Rice’s poetry gained enormous popularity during the mid-20th century for its comforting themes of hope, perseverance, friendship, faith, and God’s guidance through life’s challenges. Her writings were frequently gifted for birthdays, encouragement, sympathy, and spiritual upliftment, making her books enduring favourites among Christian readers and collectors of inspirational literature.
This attractive hardcover edition of Just for You features illustrated cloth boards and retains its original unclipped dust jacket. The elegant design, centred around the famous praying hands motif, gives the volume strong nostalgic appeal and makes it an appealing decorative piece as well as a readable devotional companion.
