The ERTL model number 2167G refers to the die-cast metal figures of the Fat Controller (Sir Topham Hatt) and a Station Porter from the “Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends” series. This set was introduced in 1990 and remained available in the UK until 2004 and in the US until 2002.
The set includes two figures:
The Fat Controller (Sir Topham Hatt): The director of the North Western Railway, known for his firm but kind management style.
The Station Porter: A railway staff member responsible for assisting with various tasks at the station.
These figures were designed to complement the ERTL die-cast train models, allowing fans to create more immersive railway scenes.
